Join other Rensselaer hockey fans at the Big Red Freakout Ice House, one of college hockey’s most exciting annual traditions! This year, we will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the 1994-95 ECAC Hockey Championship Team, as well as the 30th Anniversary of the 1984-85 National Championship Hockey Team.
The Ice House gathers alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Rensselaer hockey together at the Heffner Alumni House to enjoy a bountiful buffet dinner. Get your game face on with face painting and “tattoos” courtesy of the Red & White Student Organization, and a Pep Band performance. The free shuttle will take you from the Heffner Alumni House to the Houston Field House for the big game against Yale. After the game, take the shuttle back to the Heffner Alumni House to meet the men’s hockey team and the coaches. Get an autograph and meet your favorite players while you enjoy a cash bar and complimentary hot drinks, desserts, and snacks.
The Office of Alumni Relations has a limited number of tickets available for the Big Red Freakout hockey game. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis, to Ice House attendees only.
