Many of us enjoyed UPAC movies at Rensselaer in DCC308. Join us to relive that experience at a private screening of the movie “Spare Parts (2015)” starring George Lopez, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Marisa Tomei. The movie is based on a true story of a group of high school students who formed a robotics club to go up against the country's reigning robotics champion, MIT. You will also have a chance to meet robotics team members from Montclair High School, and learn about Rensselaer’s substantial role in promoting STEM education through FIRST Robotics events. This movie is shown for educational purposes as a non-commercial study to gain knowledge of robotics competitions. Click here
for more information about the movie and this event.
The Boston Alumni Chapter is hosting a welcoming party for those new alumni who have moved to our area. The event will be held on a roofdeck in the South End belonging to an alumnus. Join the RPI Boston Alumni Chapter for a guided tour that will show the MBTA command center room as well as the rest of the central facility. Don't forget to bring your questions!
