Visit www.acementor.org to learn more about the ACE Mentor Program.
  • College fair representative - represent Rensselaer at college fairs in targeted recruiting areas!

Phoning or E-mailing Prospective Admitted Students and their Parents
Every March when Regular Decision admission decisions are announced, Admissions can provide you with the names of accepted students in your area you may reach out to the students to congratulate them and to offer your assistance as involved alum. Alumni may also contact parents of accepted students to address their concerns as well. These contacts can be made via telephone, e-mail or a letter. Also, as we receive requests from students who want to speak with alumni in their home areas, we will contact you!

Representing Rensselaer at College Fairs
College fairs are an excellent source of contact with prospective students. These events are typically held at a local high school or civic center. Many colleges attend and display materials for students to take. The fair allows for students and their parents to ask college representatives specific questions. Typically, a few hundred students attend these events. Our office supplies you with all necessary admissions materials as well as the information you need to answer commonly asked questions. If Rensselaer is invited to a fair in your area, we would contact you well in advance to check your availability.

Welcome/ Send-Off Receptions
In late summer local alumni representatives hold regional send-off receptions to celebrate our new students on their way to join the Rensselaer community. These events are coordinated by the local alumni representatives, and invitations are sent through the office of Undergraduate Admissions.
